The Master of Translational Medicine (MTM) is a professional master’s program jointly offered at two world-renowned institutions – the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) and the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
Translational medicine is all about bridging the gap between research concepts and clinical use. Being a master of translational medicine demonstrates that you have a deep understanding of how to get tools and technologies into the hands of the clinicians and patients who need them.
In this immersive 10-month program, students from diverse backgrounds in engineering, life sciences, and medicine come together to work on real-world medical innovation projects and learn how to navigate the complex process of commercializing a medical device.
