Master of Translational Medicine
A Program to Navigate the Journey From Ideation to Implementation
The Master of Translational Medicine Degree is a Professional Masters and a place where students gain the knowledge and skills necessary to bring medical innovation from the engineer’s bench to the patient’s bedside.
Backed by two world-class institutions – the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley and the Department of Bioengineering and Therapeutic Sciences at UCSF – the program empowers students to explore and make new discoveries in the field.
Graduates are using their hands-on and real world experience from the program to change the way products are brought to life today.
NEW: MTM is launching a therapeutics track for Fall 2024. This new track will explore the pathways of biopharma innovations from the scientists lab to the patients treatment.
