Electives
In addition to the core MTM courses, students take advantage of a wide range of classes offered at both UC Berkeley and UCSF. The courses listed below have been previously approved as meeting the requirements of the program, but are by no means the only electives you can choose. Many other graduate (and undergraduate) courses provide essential training for translational medicine, and can be included in the MTM curriculum in consultation with faculty advisors.
There is no need to enroll in a large number of electives, as the core classes and capstone project will be your main focus throughout the year.
