A new degree blending the engineering, clinical, and entrepreneurial aspects of translating medical innovation into clinical reality.
One intense year
Taking full advantage of two world-class universities
Hands-on experience and real-world projects developing medical innovations
Medical innovation requires a broad range of skills and experiences. Successful students come from bioengineering, from life sciences, and from clinical backgrounds.
MTM graduates go on to launch careers in medical innovation at companies ranging from start-ups to established medtech leaders. Some pursue consulting or research. Others return to clinical practice with a new perspective.
The heart of the MTM is experiential learning in small group projects. Students help with a wide range of translational steps, including needs assessment, prototype development, and understanding the IP, reimbursement, and regulatory landscapes.
